The evening served as a heartfelt reminder that while the world grows more connected digitally, it is genuine human connection that truly heals, uplifts, and sustains our emotional wellbeing.
A Gathering of Inspiring Voices

The event brought together an eminent panel of thought leaders and changemakers whose work continues to shape the landscape of mental health and social awareness:
🌿 Ms. Salony Priya, Founder of @Ummeed, known for her pioneering work in education, counselling, and emotional wellbeing.
🎓 Dr. Manabi Bandyopadhyay, Trailblazing Educator & Social Reformer, whose life and leadership redefine courage and inclusivity.
💃 Ms. Alokananda Roy, Renowned Classical Dancer & Social Worker, celebrated for her transformative use of art in rehabilitation and social healing.
🙏 Father Simon Murmu, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, who emphasized compassion and understanding as the core of true education.
The engaging discussion was beautifully moderated by Dr. Sujata Agarwal, who guided meaningful reflections on empathy, community, and emotional resilience.
When Connection Becomes the Cure

With over 200 distinguished guests in attendance, the event space at ICCR Kolkata came alive with warmth, sincerity, and shared purpose.
Each conversation during “The Connection Cure” reaffirmed that authentic human relationships — built on empathy and presence — are essential to emotional and mental wellbeing. The dialogue explored how communities can come together to create spaces of safety, compassion, and belonging.
A Collective Step Toward Healing

As the evening concluded, the sentiment in the room was clear — connection itself is the cure.
The World Mental Healthcare Association extends heartfelt gratitude to all speakers, guests, and partners who contributed to making “The Connection Cure” a resounding success.
Together, we continue to move closer to a world where mental health is understood, valued, and nurtured.
